Your questions, answered.
How do I connect Deputy?
A Deputy System Administrator must authorise the connection.
- Open Apps in Filament and add Deputy.
- Sign in to Deputy and approve access to the install you want to connect.
- Add any useful context about your workforce and complete setup.
How does the connection work?
You sign in to Deputy and approve the connection. Deputy tells us which install you authorised, so there is nothing else to enter.
How often does it sync?
Every 6 hours. Each sync picks up timesheets Deputy has modified since the previous one and reloads employee, location and area details.
What about rosters and leave?
Not yet. The first version syncs timesheets, employees, locations and areas.
Can I see labour cost against revenue?
Yes. Timesheets carry cost and on-cost per shift, so labour cost can be totalled by location or area and compared with your accounting data.
